This Pinot Noir is reminiscent of a bowl of ripe dark
berries: juicy sour cherry, blackberry, and blackcurrant. Behind these lie cool herbs, a hint of dark wood, and a delicate roasted note. In the mouth, it is silky and juicy. The fine tannins are reminiscent of the delicate skin of a ripe cherry – perceptible, yet never dry. A slightly salty spice keeps the fruit fresh and accompanies the long finish.

The heavy, iron-rich soil gives the wine strength. At the same time, wind and cool nights on the high plateau preserve its freshness. This results in a Pinot Noir that tastes ripe and full-bodied, yet never heavy.
