2023 Loess Pinot Blanc

"On the palate, it is powerful, full-bodied, and intense, yet at the same time very charming and persistent. Plenty of extract and a fine, lively, mineral-influenced limestone acidity give the wine spice and a lemony freshness. They carry its fullness through to a long, animating finish..."

Clear in fruit. Cool in character.

This Pinot Blanc is reminiscent of a bite into a crisp green apple, followed by juicy pear, grapefruit and a splash of lime. White blossoms and a fine nutty note make it soft and inviting. In the mouth, it is lively and clear, yet pleasantly round - a wine in which fruit and freshness harmonise so naturally that you immediately want the next sip.

This is ensured by the mighty, calcareous loess soil, in which the approximately 30-year-old vines root deeply. At night, cool air flows from the adjacent forest into the vineyard, preserving the freshness of the grapes. Spontaneous fermentation in large wooden barrels and long aging on the lees give the wine depth without masking its lightness.

For the beautiful moments of everyday life.

This Pinot Blanc doesn't need a special occasion. It's perfect for the first glass on the terrace, a relaxed evening with friends, or a meal where the wine can complement without dominating.

Its fresh, juicy character pairs particularly well with fish, asparagus, white meat, and summer vegetable dishes. Even on its own, it remains easily approachable and exciting at the same time.
