The aroma is reminiscent of juicy black cherries and ripe currants, overlaid with a delicate hint of cocoa and dark chocolate. Warm spices add depth to the fruit. On the palate, the cuvée is smooth and full-bodied, yet remains fresh and pleasantly stimulating.

Blaufränkisch, Spätburgunder, St. Laurent, and Cabernet Sauvignon each contribute their own strengths. The grapes ripen on loess and gypsum keuper, while cold air currents from the surrounding forests preserve their freshness. This results in a red wine with ripe fruit, spicy depth, and astonishing lightness.

Cuvée N°1 feels just as at home on a set table as it does among a large gathering. It accompanies pizza, pasta, grilled dishes, and spicy vegetable dishes without overpowering them. Its juicy fruit makes it approachable, while the subtle spice can also handle stronger flavors.
