The aroma is reminiscent of a basket full of lychee, mango, honeydew melon, and pineapple. This is complemented by dried apricot, a hint of fresh herbs, and the subtle scent of rose petals. The grapes grow on a steep, sunny slope of calcareous sandstone with a thick loess layer. The warmth allows the exotic aromas to fully ripen, while the calcareous subsoil gives the wine its clear freshness and tension.
